Lone Worker Protection: A Commitment to Duty of Care and Security

The number of lone workers is on the rise due to COVID-19. In its article “Lone Worker Protection: A Commitment to Duty of Care and Security” SECURITY Magazine says “Organizations in charge of protecting lone workers must fulfill their duty of care, taking all steps reasonably possible to ensure the safety, well-being and physical and mental health of their employees, or else, risk leaving critical employees unprotected and at risk.”

This directly supports what we are hearing from our clients who are responding to this issue by digitizing their lone workers. COVID-19 has greatly hastened the digitization of health and safety programs and this transformation will continue to create value long after the pandemic is over.
