Calgary, Canada — September 15, 2022 — Field Safe Solutions, Inc., (“Field Safe Solutions“, “Field Safe”, or the “Company“) a global leader in field data capture and health and safety solutions that connect at-risk workers and support the digital transformation of their safety experience, announced today the appointment of David Eastham as its Chairman, effective immediately.
Mr. Eastham is the President and CEO of Castlegate Energy Inc., a private oil and gas exploration and development corporation. He brings 39 years of executive leadership experience managing numerous private and public company financings, asset acquisitions and dispositions, and corporate sales. Mr. Eastham has been a member of Field Safe’s Board of Directors since June 19, 2019. He was appointed Chairman by unanimous decision of the Board on September 15, 2022.
In accepting the appointment, Mr. Eastham said, “Field Safe has experienced tremendous growth and maturation of its products over the past three years. With my understanding of the company and knowledge of its solutions I see great potential for our continued growth through the monetization of new partners and programs. I am excited to continue our work as a market leader in health and safety software and am privileged to work alongside an experienced and energetic Board. I would like to thank Mike Heier for his leadership, guidance, and unbridled enthusiasm over the past few years.”
Mr. Eastham’s appointment follows the resignation of former Executive Chairman Mike Heier. Mr. Heier led Field Safe’s Board since late 2018. 
His contributions to Field Safe have been instrumental in shaping its product development and steering it to a market-leading position.
