Andrew Pope is Vice President, Investment Portfolio Management for ATCO. Appointed to this role in 2022, he works with business development teams across the ATCO group of companies to drive strategic and financial analysis, develop value-creating recommendations, and execute potential transactions to support growth opportunities for the ATCO enterprise.

Since joining ATCO in 2013, Mr. Pope has held progressively senior positions within ATCO’s Structures and Frontec businesses and at the corporate group level. His work has included the support of numerous major transactions and strategic initiatives including the sale of Alberta PowerLine, ATCO’s acquisition of a 40 per cent ownership position in Neltume Ports, and the acquisition of the remaining 50 per cent interest in the ATCO Sabinco S.A. joint venture partnership.

Mr. Pope is a CFA charterholder and graduated from Memorial University with a joint degree in commerce and economics. Prior to joining ATCO, he held financial and business development positions with Suncor Energy and the Government of Canada.
