The goal is to put together the best minds and direct all employers through the process of safely returning employees in a minimally risky post-pandemic climate. SAFER aims to serve as a leading voice in occupational safety; it will give guidelines to employers of all sizes. The Canadian Occupational Safety indicated that a practical guidance will be provided on how to build the safest possible environments in the article “Safe Actions For Employee Returns (SAFER) initiative launched”. One of SAFER’s anticipated suggestions is that just as it consists of key advisory roles to safely get workers back to the workplace, managers need to act as a multifunctional, cross-department community to ensure that the requisite discussions take place throughout their operations.
