Chris Read is the Regional Director of Oil & Gas, Western North America, with Hatch.  Previous to this, Mr. Read was a Principal and President of Upside Engineering, a 30 year old multi-disciplinary private engineering firm located in Calgary and focused on the oil and gas industry. Mr. Read is an experienced executive with over 25 years of experience in the areas of leadership, strategic planning, business development, and operations management. His professional career has included time in the Canadian Armed Forces, defence contracting and the oil and gas engineering industries. Mr. Read serves on the board of directors for the Calgary Military Family Resources Centre. He holds a MBA from the University of Calgary.
